Talk about studying English

In modern times ,more and more people study English in the world .Why?I think there are many reasons such as for working opportunity ,for contact with others and for commerce affairs .



I studied English as a course at school in China Before studying abroad ,but it is just for the final English examination.There was no purpose and aim in my English studying career before ,and I had never thought why I need to study English .English becomes my major course after I studied abroad .The purpose becomes clear .I must learn English because it is the fundamental tool of my further study ,and I must communicate with other local person in English .In my opionion ,English is my survival skill now.I need English everyday and everywhere . For example, doing some shopping ,seeing a doctor and communicate with my teachers.



I remember that I met a tourist from another country on the Pekin'subway .He lost the way and asked me for help .I showed him the way back to his hotel in spite of my English was not well .I felt very honor to be able to help others.

In my opionion ,global language means the language is widespreaded in the world , all of different coutry's people can communicate with each other through it .It is a common language .In China ,most of jobs require a English ability ,and more and more companies demand the employees have a high-level abilities in English .So, I think English is the global language at present .
