Unforgetful holiday

Easter is a very important festval in Poland. Fortunately,my classmates and I were invited to my teather Ela's house to have a traditional festival. we had a wonderful day there.It is really great!

Colour of eggs and rabbit-shaped chocolates are so popular on this festival that almost everyone gives them to each other as gifts. So the first programme Ela arranged for us was making color eggs. Her husband prepared the facilities such as color pens and oil paints and tought us how to make a beautiful color egg. Then,we tried to paint on eggs. I was extremly excited because I like painting and it is my first time to paint on eggs. When we were making color eggs, Carolina and Ela were cooking traditional food. I think it was definately hard to prepare such a big dinner. Here I want to say: thank you,my dear teachers! We also tried to make desserts under the guidance of our teathers.They looked perfect! After enjoying the delicious food, we took the baskets which were full of food and decorated with leaves to the church. At there, the priest prayed for all of people,and sprayed Holy water to every one. I believed that all of us will be lucky through his praying. Thanks for his praying although I didn't understand what he said. Before we got on bus, I finally hold the baby of my teather. She was so lovely that made me remember my little niece.

This is the first Easter I ever have spent,and also the most warmly holiday I have ever had in Poland. I felt the warmth of home that I haven't had for several months.
